So, I subscribed to the Chagoon Conspiracy on
So, I subscribed to the Chagoon Conspiracy on iTunes (and, uh, if you haven't, why the eff haven't you? Seriously! AND DO IT, ALREADY!!!!). It's awfully neat to think that this in The iTunes.I also subscribed for Spanish lesson podcasts (Coffee Break Spanish, by Radio Lingua International). My commute is not long enough to get not a book, but not short enough to go to anything to keep women inside my little world. Perfecto! Little 15 minute lessons to get me to in Spanish with some keywords and phrases. And, there are continuing lessons at the podcaster's website. The best part? The person teaching the lessons is Scottish. So I'm learning Spanish with a Scottish accent. Nice.I think when I get them, all 21 of these lessons and catch up, I'll download the 97 Italian lessons done by the time guy. And, finally, lest I forget...I downloaded the Mika album (so totally the lovechild of Freddie Mercury and Rufus Wainwright, and I loves it!!!). I may have also accidentally on purpose downloaded the soundtrack to this as well. And, then, I may also have thrust myself into utter nostalgia. You see, when XANADU came out on the big screen. I was nine years old - she'd the leg warmers while roller skating, loving everything there was to the about Greek Mythology, and fucking wearing the shit out of some ribbon barrettes. I remember learning how to swim a wine bottle with pictures of Olivia Newton-John, Michael Beck, and Gene Kelly. I. Shit. You. Not.I just want it to... be said that learning had OLJ's hairdo when I was younger. and as Zeus is my witness, I will have to hair again, dammit.Look at that shit. I so totally want her hair.
